Cycles, circles, repetitions. From beginning to end, or from beginning to beginning? And what lies in between? According to our current understanding, we assume that our universe is expanding endlessly. All matter and energy are dispersing into an undefined vast space. At some point, all matter will have burned out. A silence and emptiness will emerge. But what if our universe existed cyclically? According to the "Big Crunch" hypothesis, at a certain point of maximum expansion, the universe collapses into several black holes subsequently merging into one large black hole, which then swallows itself. This would mean that the existing energy gathers again at a single point, and when maximum energy is compressed into minimal space, there would be enough substance to explode and expand once more as the Big Bang.

In the exhibition "t = x - about the repetition of circles, sounds and lines," I explore the idea of a cyclical universe. The expansion and contraction of energy. A pulsation . Beginning with a depiction of the entire cycle, individual moments are then examined more closely. Interpretations of moments on the timeline of the universe, always as a visual and aural experience. In contrast to the fleeting nature of moments, the process of creating the drawings requires slowness. In an almost meditative state, the images are composed of three-dimensionally drawn spheres. It is a repetition, both in the motif and in the movement. In the sculptures, excerpts from the cycle are displayed on a room-sized scale, allowing viewers to stand within the represented moment. This experience is intensified by the acustic interpretation of energy concentrated within that moment. The compositions are based solely on my own voice, as from my personal perspective, my voice was the only appropriate instrument to convey the unseen but inherent energy of the work. The exhibition invites viewers to immerse themselves in moments of slowness. To detach from the everyday concerns that accompany them, to drift through the works, and to linger in the sound spaces.
